Lots of Snow!


So it's been snowing for almost 24 hours now. All the high scools are cancelled because the roads are so bad. So either you are home with the kids, can't get to the gym, or just don't want to leave the house here is a wokout you can do right in your home. This is what is called a pyramid style workout so you start at a certain number of reps and then work up to a different number and work your way back down (ex. 15, 20, 25, 20, 15). You can lower or raise the number of reps if needed. As with any workout alter the workout so you are able to complete it but make sure you are still challenging yourself. Give yourself enough rest in-between sets but no more than 1 minute and take a 1 minute break in-between exercises

Warm-up (3 sets for 30 seconds each)

Jumping Jacks

Jogging in place

High knees

Butt kickers

Workout

Squats 10-15-20-25-20-15-10

Push Ups 3-5-7-5-3

Crunches 25-35-45-50-45-35-25

Squat Jumps 15-20-25-20-15

Burpees 5-10-15-10-5

Lunges (alternate legs) 20-30-40-30-20

Donkey Kicks (one leg at a time) 15-20-25-20-15

Bridges 25-30-35-30-25

Tricep dips 5-10-15-10-5

If you are not sure what an exercise is youtube is a great tool to use just type in the exercise and there is a video for all of them.
